About Shanti

illustration-Llama.png

Shanti Permaculture invites you to our magical farm and agri-tourism destination. Sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, cats, dogs and a friendly llama await you! Gather fresh eggs or veggies from our garden, help us feed Cosmo the friendly llama and his flock of sheep. Toss dried mealworms to the chickens and ducks and watch them go wild for their favorite treat. Come visit our colorful contemporary Bohemian decorated cottage, and walk through scenic isolated spots in the Redwoods. Animals and nature combined with a friendly staff ensure that Shanti is the perfect destination for couples, families or groups.

Shanti is located eight miles from the Pacific coast beaches. The “Grove of the Old Trees” and Willow Creek Nature Preserve are only a few miles from your doorstep. Enjoy Occidental’s world class restaurants, shopping and seasonal Friday afternoon Farmer’s Market only two miles away.
